Flower Quotes for Spring

76

By Jule Romans

Flower quotes can go with any gift or occasion.  In Spring, quotations that feature flowers are perfect complements to just about any type of writing. Gifts and cards are personal expressions that can gain an elegant touch with the addition of flower quotes. A card that goes with a birthday gift, a plant for someone's garden, and end-of-school though for a teacher: all of these can be improved by the inclusion of a special quote about flowers. Sometimes, flower quotes simply add interest to an email or web note.

Use any of these flower quotes during the springtime season. Some of these flower quotes are older and more literary, others are lighthearted and fun. All of these flower quotes offer the opportunity for personal and individual expression.

I want real flowers, perennials which not only grow and change
and die, but also rise again and astonish me. A garden shouldn't
just bloom and look pretty; it should develop like the rest of life.
Otherwise it, and we, live only to be spaded under.

~Emma L. Roth-Schwartz
