Who knew flower quotes could be so entertaining?  Read a few of these sweet little flower quotes and brighten up any dreary day. When there isn't time to send a friend a bouquet of flowers, send a flower quote instead. It is sure to bring a smile.

These are wonderful and funny -- even though most are a bit cynical.

It's nice to be given a gift of flowers-- preferably, if they are handed over in person by someone you want to hug.

I'm living with wildflowers in this season-- a gift of nature.

(George Burns was God-- for those who didn't know. He did a good job in the role.)

hmmm. Good point, Rochelle. I think I might take a look around for some nice quotes to put in another article for balance.

I have mixed feelings about cut flowers now. I prefer them in the ground.

Yes, I thought that one was funny, too. My thoughts about cut flowers have changed dramatically since I started gardening. Now I prefer my flowers attached to soil.
